The ribs are three-dimensional structures that extend from the thoracic vertebrae at the back of the body to the sternum at the front, so rib fractures are not easy to manually interpret on 2D X-rays. To assist doctors in accurately diagnosing rib fractures in a busy emergency room environment, we propose using AI technology to perform preliminary screening and interpretation, marking the possible fracture locations for the doctor's correct diagnosis. This is expected to reduce the clinical burden and interpretation time for the attending physician.
Development of thermal and dissolvable microcarrier for cell recovery
The aim of these technologies is to be established the thermal responsive and dissolvable microcarrier for expansion of Stem cells. The thermal responsive microcarrier offer high harvesting cell efficacy. The dissolvable of microcarrier also eliminated an additional separation step to retrieve the cells from microcarriers. This reduces the complexity of cell manufacturing and increase the ease with which the therapeutic cells can be make the product for patients.
